WHAT IS NSDC?
The National Student Data Corps (NSDC) is a community-developed initiative dedicated to helping learners explore and develop skills in data science. NSDC provides educational resources, learning opportunities, mentorship, projects, and career development support to students and educators at different levels.
Originally launched as the Northeast Student Data Corps, NSDC began in 2020 and was launched nationally in 2021. Today, it connects students, educators, researchers, industry professionals, and institutions through a growing data science community. NSDC also supports institutional and regional chapters that bring data science learning, mentorship, research, and career opportunities directly to students.

NSDC SCET is the NSDC Institutional Chapter at Suryodaya College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, building an inclusive, student-driven community focused on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Analytics.
The chapter aims to make data science and AI accessible to students across departments through hands-on workshops, projects, mentorship, hackathons, and collaborative learning. Students are encouraged to work on real-world problems, develop practical skills, and connect with the wider NSDC community.
Through learning initiatives, technical events, projects, and cross-chapter collaboration, NSDC SCET aims to build a strong student ecosystem for AI and Data Science at the college.

National Student Data Corps — Suryodaya College Chapter
NSDC SCET is the Suryodaya College of Engineering & Technology chapter of the National Student Data Corps, bringing together students passionate about Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and technology.
Our chapter creates opportunities for students to learn, build, and experiment through workshops, technical sessions, projects, hackathons, competitions, and collaborative activities. We encourage students from different backgrounds and departments to explore data-driven technologies and develop practical skills.
Through NSDC SCET, students can collaborate with peers, learn from mentors, work on real-world problems, and connect with the broader NSDC community while building a strong foundation in Data Science and AI.
